College girl found hanging inside hostel in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Girl student of a private college located at Gothapatna in Odisha capital was found hanging inside the hostel of the educational institution, last night.

The deceased was identified as Archana Das, a +3 Second Year student of Science stream.

Her body was found hanging from the ceiling of the hostel room with neck being tied to a saree.

The Chandaka police have recovered the body for post-mortem. A scientific team reached the spot to carry out investigation.

Though the reason behind her death was yet to be ascertained, it is being suspected that she ended her life by hanging herself.
