Bhubaneswar: Even as colleges and universities across Odisha have been closed as a part of COVID-19 lockdown, staffers were today directed to attend office from June 17.
In a letter to registrars of all government universities and principals of all colleges, Higher Education Department Secretary Saswat Mishra has directed all teachers, officers, and non-teaching employees of the educational institutions to attend office from June 17.
They have been asked to ensure COVID-19 preventive measures and maintain social distancing during their work.
Worth mentioning, classes in all educational institutions of the state have been suspended till July 31 in view of the COVID-19 situation.
