Commercial Tax & GST Additional Commissioner in Odisha Vigilance net

Jajpur: Odisha Vigilance today raided residences and office of Cuttack Additional Commissioner of Commercial Tax & GST Piyush Pani here on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known source of income.

Sources said that simultaneous raids are being conducted by the Vigilance sleuths at seven places in Vyas Nagar, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.

While a Vigilance team including one DSP and three Inspectors raided the official's residence at Vyas Nagar in Jajpur Road, a team led by Vigilance DSP Somnath Barik carried out searches in Cuttack.

Till the last report came in, the searches were underway.
