Constable drinks liquor in police station in Odisha’s Dhenkanal; video goes viral

Dhenkanal: A constable working in Motanga police station is seen in a video while drinking liquor inside his office in Dhenkanal district and the video went viral today on social media platforms.

In the viral video, the policeman is seen sitting in front of a table along with two of his acquaintances and glasses filled with liquor and Chakhana (eatables) kept on it. No trace of files or any other official document is there. Khaki uniforms are seen hanging from a rope, a source said.

The policeman identified as Debabrata Priyaranjan Sahu (Badge No-C/509) is seen preparing pegs to drink. Another man is seen preparing fried chicken on an induction cooker beside him.

A local resident has captured the video through his mobile phone. However, the date exactly when the bizarre incident took place has not been ascertained yet, the source added.

The viral video does not have any audio support. Hence, conversations are not audible.
