Constabulary Mahasangh of Odisha threaten stir

Cuttack, Aug 7:

The Odisha Havildar Constable and Sipahi Mahasangh today threatened to resort to agitation if the state government fails to fulfill their six-point charter of demands which include hike in monthly salary and abolition of contractual appointments.

The Mahasangh leaders at a press meet told reporters that its members would wear black badges on the first and second day of the forthcoming monsoon session of the Odisha Assembly to press on their demands.

It threatened to gherao the Assembly if the government fails to meet their demands by the third day.
