Coromandel Express will run from Shalimar station at 3.20 PM tomorrow

Balasore: Coromandel Express will resume running from Shalimar railway station at 3.20 pm, tomorrow. Two major blocks in the Upline and Downline are under restoration.

Moreover, a total ex-gratia to the tune of Rs 16.10 crore has been given so far and the figure is being updated very often. Towards the Upline, 40 (24 goods and 16 coachings) trains have started towards Bhubaneswar and towards the down direction, towards Howrah 49 (16 goods and 23 coachings) trains have started.

“Any fake information should not be shared…it must be discarded and shouldn’t be propagated. The information about the death of loco pilots is fabricated,” Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of South Eastern Railway Aditya Kumar Chaudhary said.

Worth mentioning, in one of the horrific tragedies, at least 288 passengers died and over 1,000 were injured when 21 coaches of the Coromandel Express, SMVP-Howrah Superfast Express and a goods train collided and derailed on Friday evening near Bahanaga Bazaar railway station in Odisha’s Balasore.
