Coronavirus scare: Section 144 imposed in Odisha’s Ganjam

Berhampur: The Ganjam district administration has decided for imposition of prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC in a bid to avoid spreading of COVID-19.

Gathering of more than five persons at a single place in the district has been prohibited. This apart, leaves of all government employees in the district have been cancelled.

Similarly, Rayagada district administration has also cancelled leaves of all government employees and asked them to remain present at their headquarters until further orders.
