Twin City Commissionerate police’s flying squad today arrested a couple on charges of drug trafficking in Odisha’s Cuttack city and seized 130-gram brown sugar from them.

While the youth has been identified as Sheikh Syed, his girlfriend has been identified as Sakar Soren, police sources said.

They were nabbed at OMP Square while both were travelling to Cuttack from Balasore, the sources added.

The market value of the seized contraband is estimated to be around Rs 13 lakh.
