Bhubaneswar: A couple was found dead on railway track near Bomikhal in Odisha capital, this morning.

The two hailed from Kandarpur area of Cuttack district and were residing in Shantipalli here. The man was working as a wage labourer.

Though the reason behind the deaths was yet to be ascertained, it is being suspected that the duo took the extreme step of ending their lives after a family dispute.

As per their neighbours, a heated exchange of words ensued between the two, last night.

Following the quarrel, the two suspectedly died by suicide on the track.

The Government Railway Police (GRP) have recovered the bodies for post-mortem and started an investigation.
