Couple riding motorcycle killed in road mishap in Bargarh

Bargarh: A couple was killed in a road mishap today morning near Sarandapali village in the district. Following the incident, the police have detained a man.

Ganesh Ram from Kesheipali village and wife Santoshini Sahu were going towards Parthalla village riding a motorcycle. In the meantime, a car coming from the opposite direction hit the motorcycle.

The impact of the collision was so much that Ram and wife Sahu dispersed in different directions. While Ram died on the spot, Sahu succumbed to her injuries on the way to hospital.

The Bargarh Police has detained businessman Rahul Goel, who was driving the car. A case has been registered and the bodies were sent for post mortem.
