COVID-19: 267 more positive cases detected in Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: The number of positive cases in Bhubaneswar city increased to 7,599 today when another 267 corona patients were detected in last 24 hours. While 114 new positive cases were local contact cases, 153 persons tested positive while being in quarantine centres, mentioned the data released by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Of the total fresh cases, 10 were reported from ITER Campus, Jagamara. One positive from Kharvel Nagar area case has travel history to Kolkata.

All the new positive cases have been shifted to COVID hospitals.

In last 24 hours, as many as 174 patients recuperated from the diseased.

So far, the recovery count in the city was 4563 while a total 33 patients died of the disease. The number of active cases stands at 2,994.
