COVID-19: 290 more recover from virus infection in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The number COVID-19 patients recovered in Odisha mounted to 6,224 after another 290 persons, who contracted the virus, cured of the disease today.

Official sources said the 290 COVID-19 patients tested negative for the virus and are being discharged from hospitals.

The maximum number of 99 patients from Ganjam district recovered today.

A total of 56 from Gajapati, 33 from Jharsuguda, 16 each from Cuttack and Nabarangpur, 15 from Balasore, 11 from Sambalpur and 10 from Khordha district recuperated.

Eight from Mayurbhanj, six each from Keonjhar and Puri, five from Jagatsinghpur, three from Nayagarh, two each from Baragarh and Koraput and one each from Jajpur and Sundargarh districts cured of the virus infection.
