COVID-19: Another 112 patients recover in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Even as Odisha reported the highest single-day spike of COVID-19 cases today, another 112 patients recovered from the disease in the State on same day.

Of 112 patients, the highest number of recovered cases of 33 was reported from Kendrapara followed by Balangir (16) and Jajpur (11). The remaining patients recovered from COVID-19 are from Sundergarh (10), Jagatsinghpur (8), 7 each from Ganjam and Khordha, 4 each from Cuttack and Sonepur, 3 each from Balasore, Puri and Sambalpur, 2 from Nayagarh and 1 from Mayurbhbaj districts.

Another 112 COVID patients have recovered and are being discharged, tweeted State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

With this, the total number of recovered case in Odisha now stands at 1716 with 1055 active cases.

Similarly, the COVID-19 tally in the State dropped to 2669 from 2781. Eight patients have succumbed to the deadly virus in the State so far.

Earlier in the day, 173 fresh cases of COVID-19 were reported from 14 districts.
