COVID-19: Another 52 persons including 49 NDRF jawans test positive in Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: Another 52 persons including 49 personnel of NDRF in Cuttack district today tested positive for deadly COVID-19.

Official sources said 49 personnel of NDRF Mundali camp were infected from the virus. With this the total number of COVID-19 positive cases at NDRF Munduli camp rose to 50.

Worth mentioning, three day back one NDRF personnel tested positive for the virus.

After the return of NDRF jawans from West Bengal on June 4, samples of 177 personnel of the Mundali camp were collected for tests. They had gone to West Bengal to undertake Amphan restoration work.

The sources added two persons from Badamba area and one from Nischintakoili also tested positive for the virus.

So far, a total of 237 persons in Cuttack district tested positive for the deadly virus.
