Bhubaneswar: Good news about COVID-19 in Odisha. Another 62 persons infected from the deadly virus have recovered and are being discharged, said official sources at the Health and Family Welfare Department today.

The official sources added 41 persons from Ganjam have recovered while 15 and 2 from Balasore and Rourkela recovered from the infection respectively.

One each from Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj and Jajpur hospitals was also discharged from COVID-19 hospital. Another COVID-19 patient from Maharashtra who was undergoing treatment at a COVID-19 hospital in Odisha has also recovered, the official sources added.

So far, a total of 497 persons have recovered from the infection and tested negative for the virus. The number excludes the Maharashtra case, official sources said.
