COVID-19 claims 4 more lives in Odisha; toll rises to 1948

Bhubaneswar: Four more COVID-19 patients succumbed to the deadly virus while undergoing treatment at hospitals in the state in last 24 hours.

Following the deaths, the state’s total toll today surged to 1948.     

“Regret to inform the demise of four numbers of COVID positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.

Details of the death cases: 

1.A 53-year-old male of Jharsuguda district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

2.A 40-year-old male of Keonjhar district.

3.A 43 -year-old male of Sundargarh district.

4.A 50-year-old female of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
