COVID-19 claims 5 more lives in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Five more COVID-19 patinets in Odisha succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours taking the state’s toll to 1739.

“Regret to inform the demise of five numbers of COVID-19  positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.

Of the fresh five death, three have been reported from Khordha district and three from Nuapada district.

Details of the fresh death cases:  

• A 35-year-old male of Khordha district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

• A 60-year-old male of Khordha district.

• A 55-year-old male of Khordha district.

• A 60-year-old male of Nuapada district.

• A 50-year-old female of Nuapada district.
