Bhubaneswar: Shutdown restrictions imposed in Odisha's Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur districts for COVID-19 containment were lifted today at 10 am.

However, lockdown guidelines and restrictions in containment zones of the districts will prevail. Worth mentioning, at least 44 COVID-19 cases have been reported from the three districts so far.

The state government had taken a decision of imposing a 60-hour shutdown in the 3 districts for containment of the virus transmission. Contact tracing and collection of swab samples of West Bengal returnees were carried out in the region during the shutdown period.
