Khordha: In view of steep rise in COVID-19 cases in Khordha district, Khordha district Judge has rescheduled court timings till July 31. All courts in the district will now operate between 11 AM and 1.30 PM .
"All the courts and offices will be allowed to function in a restricted manner. Minimal staff will be allowed and only extremely urgent matters through virtual mode or video conferencing will be taken up", informed a communique issued the Office of the District Judge.
"Precautions, social distancing norms and other guidelines issued by the court should be strictly followed to combat the COVID-19 virus," read the order.
It is pertinent to mention that, the number of COVID-19 cases is alarmingly rising in Khordha district with nearly 500 cases reported in last 48 hours.
