COVID-19: Ganjam reports 3rd case, Odisha tally at 170

Bhubaneswar: Number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha reached 170 as Ganjam district reported its third positive case yesterday, official sources said today.

The person has been identified as an 18-year-old youth and Surat returnee. He was placed under quarantine by the state government, sources added.

With this, the number of active cases in the state rose to 109 while 60 patients have recovered so far.

A record number of 3535 samples were tested in Odisha yesterday while seven of those (one from Ganjam, two from Bhadrak and four from Jajpur) tested positive.
