Bhubaneswar: Odisha today reported a record number of recoveries of 2,546 COVID-19 patients. This is the third consecutive day the State registered the highest number of recoveries in last 24 hours. So far a total of 59,470 patients recovered from the disease.
The maximum number of 627 patients from Khordha district recuperated from the virus infection. This was followed by 266 from Ganjam, 143 from Nayagarh, 141 from Puri, 112 from Rayagada, 104 from Koraput, 99 from Bhadrak, 98 from Cuttack, 87 from Boudh, 76 from Malkangiri and 74 from Kendrapara district.
As many as 73 each from Kandhamal and Sundargarh, 72 from Kalahandi, 70 from Mayurbhanj, 63 from Balasore, 44 from Nabarangpur, 42 from Gajapati, 40 from Jajpur and 37 from Keonjhar district recovered.
A total of 32 each from Angul, Jagatsinghpur and Sambalpur districts, 29 from Bargarh, 20 each from Dhenkanal and Sonepur, 18 from Balangir, 17 from Jharsuguda and five from Deogarh district got cured from the disease.
