COVID-19: Odisha’s recovery count crosses 40k mark

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s recovery count crossed 40,000 mark today when another 1,521 COVID-19 patients recovered today. Till now, the number of recovered cases in the State was at 40,726.

The maximum of 272 CVOID-19 patients from Ganjam recovered followed by 231 from Khordha, 166 from Cuttack, 93 from Rayagada, 89 from Sundergarh, 80 from Puri and 77 from Kalahandi district.

A total of 61 from Balasore, 56 from Nayagarh, 54 each from Gajapati and Sambalpur, 52 from Jajpur, 46 from Koraput, 26 each from Bhadrak and Kandhamal, 22 from Malkangiri, 19 from Keonjhar and 16 from Jagatsinghpur district recuperated from the disease.

While 13 each from Angul, Bolangir and Kendrapada, 10 each from Bargarh and Jharsuguda, nine from Sonepur district recovered, a total of six from Mayurbhanj, five from Boudh and two from Nabarangpur district recuperated from the infection.
