COVID-19: One more tests positive in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: One more from Odisha today tested positive for deadly COVID-19. With this the total number of positive cases in the State increased to 21.

As per official sources, samples of a 29-year-old male from Kalahandi district were found to be positive for the deadly virus. He has travel history to Bahrain.

The sources added the new COVID-19 patient was asymptomatic. He is likely to be admitted to the new COVID hospital set up at Ashwini Hospital in Cuttack.

Out of 304 samples from the State tested today, one was found to be COVID-19 positive.

At RMRC and AIIMS, Bhubaneswar a total of 223 and 38 samples were tested while 38 samples were tested at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Till date 1699 samples from Odisha were tested and 21 of them were COVID-19 positive cases.
