COVID-19 outbreak in Odisha: CMC seals these areas, here are details

Cuttack: After the first positive case of COVID-19 was detected in Pattapol area of Cuttack on Friday, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation today declared the area as a containment zone and restricted the entry and exit of public.

Cuttack Municipal Commissioner Commissioner Ananya Das ordered the following areas as part of the containment zone.

* Buxi Bazar Chhak to Stewart science College.
* Stewart Science College to Sutahat Masjid Chhak.
* Sutahat Masjid Chhak to Tinkonia Bagicha Park.
* Tinkonia Bagicha Park to Buxi Bazar Chhak.

As per the order, all vehicular movement to the zone will be stopped. All the inhabitants within the containment zone will strictly remain in home.
Shopping establishments of whatsoever nature will be closed immediately.

The CMC said it will ensure supply of essentials and medical requirements through its various teams.

This apart all the institutions including government ones located within the boundary of the containment zone will be closed.

The following Officers were declared as the nodal officers to ensure smooth supply of essentials/facilities in the containment zone.
