Bhubaneswar: The novel coronavirus pandemic has turned life upside down for most of us and we’re all ready to get back to at least a little bit of normalcy.
Washing hands regularly and social distancing are a must but you also need to do things like sanitizing packages that are delivered and learn how to shop safely at physical stores.
Odisha govt has now made mandatory for everyone to wear masks or cloth masks or face coverings in public places. Since it’s unlikely you’re going to find a face mask in stores or online, it’s time to learn how to make your own.
There are several ways to make simple masks out of the items that you have in the house, with no sewing required.
You can make a mask using socks, napkin and a scissor.
Choose a long socks, because it needs to stretch, long way across the face. You need a breathable fabric to make you feel comfortable on your skin.
Lay the socks and cut it from the open end from both the sides
Cut a little bit on each side so that you can make ear strips to wear the mask.
Take a napkin and fold it and put it inside the socks and adjust it.
While holding those flaps in place , put the mask on using the loops to secure it around the ears and adjust the fabric to fully cover your chin to your nose. Be sure to clean the mask after every use and keep washing the hands.
This is one of the most easiest and quickest ways to make good quality mask at home to beat the deadly infection Covid-19.
