Dhenkanal: The district administration sealed five nursing homes and three pathology labs in Dhenkanal town today. The decision was taken after a pregnant woman admitted to one of the nursing homes tested positive for the deadly COVID-19.

As the doctors who attended the pregnant woman also visited other nursing homes and attended  patients, they were sent to quarantine.

Official sources said more than 50 persons including six doctors were sent to quarantine.

So far, a total of 122 persons in Dhenkanal district tested positive for the virus.
