COVID-19 recovered cases cross 3000-mark in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The recovered cases of COVID-19 in Odisha crossed 3000 after another 73 patients recovered from the deadly virus today.

According to State Health & Family Welfare Department, 73 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and are being discharged on June 17.

Of total recoveries today, 14 are from Kandhamal district, 11 from Keonjhar district, 10 from Khordha district, 9 from Bhadrak district, 7 from Jajpur district, 6 from Mayurbhanj district, 4 from Ganjam district, 3 from Cuttack district, 2 each from Balasore, Jagatsinghpur, Jharsuguda and Kalahandi districts and 1 from Balangir district.

With this, the total number of recovered cases now stands at 3047 and the active cases dropped to 1277 in Odisha.

Earlier in the day, 175 fresh cases of COVID-19 had been reported from 15 districts in the State taking the total count to 4338.
