COVID-19: Recovery count in Odisha crosses 12k mark

Bhubaneswar: The number of COVID-19 patients recovered from the infection crossed 12,000-mark in Odisha today after another 515 persons cured of the infection. With this, the recovery count in the State reached 12,452.

Official sources said the recovered cases are being discharged after their samples tested negative for the virus.

The maximum of 199 patients from Ganjam district recovered today. A total of 80 persons from Khordha, 40 from Jajpur, 37 from Sundargarh, 28 from Cuttack, 20 from Keonjhar, 18 from Jagatsinghpur, 15 from Balasore and 13 each from Jharsuguda and Bargarh districts recuperated.

Similarly, nine each from Mayurbhanj and Rayagada districts, eight from Balangir, seven from Bhadrak, six each from Gajapati and Puri, five from Koraput and one each from Angul and Kendrapara districts cured of the virus infection.
