COVID-19: Recovery count in Odisha increases to 11,938

Bhubaneswar: The number of recovery of COVID-19 patients in Odisha increased to 11,938 after another 607 persons cured of the infection today. Official sources said the recovered cases are being discharged after their samples tested negative for the virus.

A maximum of 279 corona patients from Ganjam district recovered. A total of 84 from Jajpur, 50 from Khordha, 42 from Cuttack, 23 from Keonjhar, 21 from Malkangiri and 15 each from Puri, Sundergarh districts cured of the virus infection.

Similarly, 12 from Mayurbhanj, 11 from Bargarh, nine from Koraput, eight from Kandhamal, seven from Jagatsinghpur and six each from Angul, Balasore and Nabarangpur districts recuperated.

Five from Bhadrak, three from Gajapati, two each from Kendrapara and Sambalpur and one from Dhenkanal districts recovered from the disease.
