Bhubaneswar: The main branch of State Bank of India in Odisha was sealed again after more number of COVID-19 positive cases were detected in the bank.
In view of further detection of COVID-19 positive cases in the State Bank of India, Main Branch, situated at Unit-1 in Bhubaneswar, the bank is sealed for a period of 96 hours from April 8 to 11 to contain further spread of virus, a notification released by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) stated today.
During the period of sealing, no one shall be allowed to move into or from outside the premises of State Bank of India, Main Branch, Unit-1, except authorised personnel of the BMC.
The employees infected with the COVID-19 have been directed to remain in isolation at their respective residence. If any positive case need medical attention, the bank authorities are to intimate the same to BMC immediately.
The bank authorities have been asked to intimate the BMC in case of COVID symptoms observed in other staff. The bank authorities can contact the BMC control room on mobile number 7847873040 or 1929 for immediate assistance.
On Sunday, the BMC had sealed the Main Branch of SBI for a period of 48 hours after seven of its staff tested positive for COVID-19. The bank was sealed from April 4-6.
