Puri: The Puri district administration today declared Dolamandap Sahi under jurisdiction of Puri Municipality as a containment zone after one COVID-19 positive case was detected in the area.

In an order, Puri Collector Balwant Singh announced Suara Sahi Chhaka to Narayani Chhaka as a containment zone. The shutdown period is effective from 7 AM of June 23, 2020 to until further orders.

Public will be restricted from entering into and going out of the containment zone. All the inhabitants within the Containment Zone were asked to strictly remain in home.

All the shopping establishments of whatsoever nature should be closed immediately. The supply of essential commodities and medical requirements will be ensured through various teams under the direction of the Executive Officer, Puri Municipality, the order stated.

All the government and private Institutions located within the boundary of the containment zone have been asked to remain closed during the shutdown period.
