COVID-19 toll up at 1,857 in Odisha with 4 more deaths

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll increased to 1,857 in Odisha with 4 more deaths in the last 24 hours.

“Regret to inform the demise of four numbers of Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” informed the State Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Department today.

The fresh deaths due to Coronavirus were reported from Khordha district (1), Balasore district (1), Mayurbhanj district (1) and Sundargarh district (1).

The Corona patients succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours were suffering from other ailments, the H&FW Department stated.

Here’re details of 4 new COVID deaths in Odisha:

1.A 58-year-old female of Balasore district who was also suffering from Hypertension & Hypothyroidism.

2.A 55-year-old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

3.A 57-year-old male of Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease.

4.A 71-year-old female of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Ischemic Heart Disease.
