COVID-19 vaccination to gain momentum as Odisha receives over 9 lakh Covishield doses

Bhubaneswar: COVID-19 vaccination drive in Odisha, which was affected due to the lack of vaccines, is all set to gain momentum as the state today received more then 9 lakh dose of Covishield.

As per reports, 8.43 lakh doses of Covishield reached Odisha from the Serum Institute of India while the state received one lakh doses of the vaccine from the Government Medical Store Depot, Kolkata.

It had also received one lakh Covishield doses, yesterday.

Worth mentioning, COVID-19 vaccination came to a grinding halt at various session sites in several districts of Odisha recently as the centres ran out of stock.
