Covid -ve test report mandatory for passengers deboarding at Bhubaneswar airport

Bhubaneswar: Passengers deboarding at the Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar will have to henceforth produce RTPCR negative report or Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) negative report which needs to be obtained 48 hours prior to their landing at Bhubaneswar. The city municipal corporation issued an order in this regard today.

Those who cannot provide a Covid test negative report will have to produce final vaccination certificate while deboarding at the Bhubaneswar airport, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation order stated.

In case, anyone coming to Bhubaneswar airport without either a Covid negative test or final vaccination certificate will undergo mandatory RAT test at the testing facility created on the premises of the BPIA.

“The positive cases detected at the RAT test at the BPIA will be dealt with as per the treatment protocol,” the order read.
