COVID vaccination: Odisha CM takes feedback from beneficiaries

Bhubaneswar: With the world’s biggest vaccination drive against Coronavirus began today in the country, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik took feedback from beneficiaries in Odisha.

Three beneficiaries (one each) from the Sundargarh District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar and City Hospital in Behrampur shared their experiences with Patnaik on virtual mode after getting first dose of vaccine today.

They suggested others to come forward to take vaccine in battle against COVID citing that the administration of vaccine is completely safe.

Reviewing the vaccination drive, Patnaik thanked the healthcare workers and frontline COVID warriors for their dedication in times of COVID-19 crisis.

“The year 2021 has brought good news for everyone. The long wait is now over. We will not forget the sacrifice and services rendered by the healthcare workers in past 10 months during the pandemic,” Patnaik said through video conferencing.

He sought cooperation from the COVID warriors for success of massive vaccination programme against Coronavirus in the State.
