Cracker factory blast: One more succumbs at SCB hosp in Odisha

The death toll in the tragic cracker factory blast at Tanti Sahi in Itamati of Odisha’s Nayagarh reached seven as another person succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at the plastic surgery ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital here this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Gurubari Mohapatra.

While two persons had died on September 23 (the day of the incident), four more took their last breath during treatment at the hospital on September 24.

Notably, the cracker factory caught fire around 5 PM on the fateful day followed by a massive blast.
