Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar asked to pick between Cristiano Ronaldo & Lionel Messi; here’s his answer

Mumbai/Bhubaneswar: Anyone who follows football or sports, in general, has been asked the infamous Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi question.

Both Ronaldo and Messi will go down as two of the greatest footballers of all time. While Ronaldo has returned to his old club Manchester United, Messi is plying his trade at French side Paris Saint-Germain after spending over two decades at FC Barcelona. Both the players, despite being in their mid-30s, are still going strong and are not showing any signs of slowing down.

Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar in a recent interview with American journalist Graham Bensinger had to face a question asking him to choose between Ronaldo and Messi. Tendulkar admitted that Messi was more of his type.

“Messi is more of my type,” he said in the interview.

A similar question was asked to current cricket star Virat Kohli a couple of years ago but Kohli chose Ronaldo over Messi.

“Tough question. But I would say Cristiano is the most complete player that I have seen. Whether it’s the left foot, right foot, speed, or dribbling skills, he’s amazing. I have not seen a better goalscorer,” Kohli had said.

“He revolutionized the sport and everyone followed him. His place is special, but if I had to take only one in my team who will give energy and intensity, it’s Cristiano,” Kohli added
