Rourkela: The Plant Site police have arrested another person in Odisha’s Rourkela city in connection with a Cricket World Cup betting racket, which was busted yesterday.

Cops have seized 3,000 USD and a passport from the possession of the accused, identified as Papu Khan.

Earlier, two persons-- Nagarmalla Agarwal and Sunil Agarwal-- were apprehended following a raid at Janta Niwas lane here and Rs 31 lakh was seized from them.

Efforts are on to nab others involved in the racket and investigation is underway, police said.
