Vigilance sleuths today conducted simultaneous raids at five places in Odisha pertaining to a disproportionate assets case against a Junior Engineer.

The sleuths from Cuttack Vigilance Division raided the residence, office and the in-law’s house of Satyanarayan Patajoshi posted as Junior Engineer of Badamba Block in Cuttack district.

Raids were conducted at a double storied building at Nukhapada in Cuttack, double storied commercial building at Nukhapada Bazar in Cuttack, residential rented house at Gadapokhari in Badamaba, father-in-law’s house at Adheigundi in Bhadrak and office room at Badamba block office.

The members of the anti-corruption wing have found documents of a three BHK flat at Gothapatna in Bhubaneswar, fixed and other saving instruments, gold ornaments among others valued at over Rs 1.21 crore.
