Crorepati woman teacher under Vigilance scanner in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths today raided the houses of a woman teacher of CT School at Unit-6 here on charges of amassing property disproportionate to her known sources of income.

Reportedly, separate teams of the anti-graft conducted the raid simultaneously at three places associated with Assistant Teacher Tilottama Mohanty. The three places included her Government quarters at Gopabandhu Chhak here. Tilottama’s husband is an LIC agent.

During the search, the Vigilance teams detected nine plots, two residential buildings and assets worth over Rs 1 crore in possession of the woman teacher. However, the exact amount of disproportionate property that the woman teacher has possessed will be ascertained after completion of the raids, said a Vigilance official.
