CRPF jawan shoots himself dead with service rifle in Odisha

Koraput, Mar 19:

A jawan of 202 Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) Battalion today committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Odisha’s Koraput district.

According to reports, the deceased jawan has been identified as Shankar Prasad from Delhi.

While the reason behind the incident was not known, an inquiry has begun into the incident.

The incident happened at the Sunabeda unit of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
