According to reports, people spotted the bombs on a farmland close to an apartment on the SUM Hospital - Malipada road.
Following this, panic gripped the Malipada village and police was informed about this.
A bomb disposal squad was rushed to the spot to defuse the explosives.
“We are in a state of fright. This is not the first time the explosives have been found here. Earlier also crude bombs were found. We suspect some anti-socials are into bomb making business,” a local resident said.
Twin City Commissionerate Police are investigating into the case. However, no case has been registered in this connection as the explosives were found on a farm and not recovered from anybody's possession.
"The bombs were of low-intensity and have been defused. We are investigating into the case," Bhubaneswar Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Satyabrata Bhoi said.
