Bhubaneswar: In view of extensive damage caused by Cyclone FANI at Utkal University of Culture, the authorities decided to defer the Post Graduate (PG) examinations to June 1.
All the Post Graduate examinations, which were scheduled from May 20, are now rescheduled to start from June 1, said a notification on the website of Utkal University of Culture.
The revised PG exam programme will be notified shortly, informed Utkal University of Culture Registrar Manoj Kumar Das.
However, the programme for under graduate examinations remained unchanged. The examination for the courses including BPA, BVA, BHM, BTTM, bachelor of fashion designing, bachelor of interior designing and the six-month programmes like Jain Religion and Philosophy and Tamil courses will be held from May 20 at examination centres of different colleges.
The hostels on premises of the university will be opened from May 28, the university said in a notification yesterday.
