Curfew relaxed for bus, train, air passengers in Odisha’s twin city

Bhubaneswar: Following the directive of the Odisha government, the Twin City Commissionerate Police imposed prohibitory order under Section 144 CrPC in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack cities from 7 PM to 5 AM till June 30. However, it relaxed the prohibitory order for bus, train and air passengers.

It said those landing in Bhubaneswar by flight or train or taking flight and train are permitted to travel between 7 PM to 5 AM by showing their flight/train ticket. The same also applies for those taking bus.

The Commissionerate Police said during the period only essential movements will be allowed in the areas under its jurisdiction.

There will be no restrictions on movement of goods vehicles during this period, it further said.
