Balasore: Previously clamped curfew restrictions will be relaxed for only a few hours in the areas coming under Sahadevkhunta and Town police limits, Balasore district administration informed today.

Curfew to continue as before in areas under Town PS till midnight of June 23 with relaxation from 5.00 AM to 2.00 PM. Curfew also to continue in areas under Sahadevkhunta PS till 23rd June midnight with relaxation from 5.00 AM to 9.00 PM. Commercial establishments and routine services will be allowed to operate during this period, Balasore Collector said in a post on the official ‘X’ handle.

Denizens in the civic area will be allowed to purchase their essential commodities during the relaxation.

Worth mentioning that the law and order situation in Balasore district is becoming normal. Out of the three police stations, the curfew has been completely withdrawn from Industrial PS. In the meantime, no untoward situation has occurred in the municipal area.

Most of the educational and healthcare institutions are using Broadband dial-up systems and internet services of other internet service providers (ISPs). However, internet services of mobile operators will continue to be suspended till normalcy returns, an official source said.
