Cuttack-bound bus carrying 40 passengers overturns

Paralakhemundi: Passengers of a bus were narrowly escaped after the vehicle they were travelling in turned turtle near Kistapur village under Adaba police station in Gajapati district this morning.

The bus was en-route  to Cuttack from Rayagada district when the accident took place. Though no casualty was reported, nearly 15 persons sustained injuries in the accident. Around 40 persons were travelling in the bus, sources said.

All the injured were later rushed to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur for treatment.
