Cuttack city: 51 more including 10 Corona Warriors test COVID-19 positive

Cuttack: Of the 97 fresh COVID-19 cases detected in Cuttack district in the last 24 hours, 51 belong to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) area. Ten Corona Warriors, including six females are among the fresh cases, informed the CMC.

Of the 51 cases, 33 were under home quarantine, seven under institutional quarantine and remaining 11 are local contacts.

Contact tracing and other followup action is underway, said CMC.

With the new cases, the city’s COVID-19 tally surged to 884, including 547 active cases. However, 327 patients have recovered from the disease so far whereas 10 succumbed to it.
