Cuttack city bandh on September 13

Cuttack: To protest the state Government’s guidelines for upcoming festivals amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Cuttack Nagar BJP has called for a bandh in the city on September 13.

Cuttack Nagar BJP President Lalatendu Badu informed this at a presser here today.

Opposing the restrictions, he questioned as to why the state Government imposed restriction on celebration of Dussehra, when it has already relaxed the COVID-19 guidelines.

“While the Government has allowed all shops, markets, temples and mutts to reopen, why it issued certain restrictions for celebration of Durga Puja,” said the saffron party leader demanding reconsideration of the decision in next four days. Party senior leader and former Minister Samir Dey was also present at the press meet.
