Cuttack: In the last 24 hours, Odisha's Twin City Cuttack and Bhubaneswar reported five fresh COVID-19 positive cases, including one from a private hospital. Of the five, four persons were under quarantine, said the Government.     Â
In Cuttack district, while seven persons tested positive in the last 24 hours, three of them belong to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) area. All three patients were lodged in quarantine centres following their return from other states, informed the CMC. The three patients include a 52-year-old male and a 39-year-old male with travel history to Mumbai and a 28-year-old male with travel history to Kolkata. The remaining four cases belong to rural Cuttack.
With the new cases, the number of positive cases in CMC area rose to 22, including eight active cases. Meanwhile, 14 patients in the CMC have recovered so far.  In the whole district, the tally of positive stands at 216, including 96 active cases. While 119 persons have so far recovered, one person has succumbed to the virus.
In Bhubaneswar, two persons tested positive for the virus in last 24 hours. One of them is a 25-year-old male employee of Apollo Hospital and one of his family members is a Surat returnee. The other patient is a 67-year-old male from Sriram Vihar apartment in Nayapalli area. He was under home quarantine.
With the new cases, the number of positive cases in the state capital crossed 100-mark at 101, including 42 active cases. While 55 patients have so far recovered, three died of the virus.
