Cuttack: The Cuttack district administration today decided to shut the Collectorate for two days after one of its employees tested positive for COVID-19.
As per a directive issued by the Additional Collector, the Collectorate will remain closed on August 26 and 27 for disinfection.
When swab samples of employees of the Collectorate were sent for tests, one of them was detected as positive for COVID-19 today afternoon. Following this, the District Collector issued a directive to the Additional Collector to shut the Collectorate for two days.
So far, a total of 3653 positive cases have been detected in Cuttack city.
